If you wear lash extensions, cleansing is one of the simplest habits you can add to your routine. Throughout the day, natural oils, makeup, sunscreen, sweat and residue build up along the lash line. A gentle daily cleanse helps keep the area fresh and your lashes looking their best.
Wash them every day
We recommend washing your extensions daily. Think of it like washing your face: a quick, gentle step that becomes second nature.
Times when it matters even more
- After wearing eye makeup
- After sweating or working out
- After swimming or a day at the beach
- When your lashes feel heavy or look less fluffy
Right after your appointment
Your lash artist will tell you how long to wait before getting your new lashes wet. It is often the first 24 to 48 hours, but always follow the specific aftercare instructions your artist gives you.
Always gently
Use a little lash shampoo, a soft cleansing brush or your fingertips, and gentle downward strokes. Rinse well with room-temperature water, let your lashes dry and brush them with a clean spoolie.
What matters most is consistency. Simple, gentle and daily: that is the Velamore way.
